3d boxes

Hi as promised yesterday here is a photo of one of the 3d boxes I made a few days ago. These boxes require no sticking or gluing and you can make them any size you want. The box above has been made using two sheets of 12 x 12 papers (from my craft box). The top box uses the complete 12 x 12 sheet and the bottom box usess the other sheet but you need to cut it down to a 11 x 11 sheet. The rule of thumb is to make the top box either 1cm or 1" bigger then the bottom.
You then draw a line diagonally from corner to corner to find the middle and then its just a series of folds and four simple cuts. (come along to one of my classes and you will learn how to make the folds and cuts to create this box)
Once you have mastered the skill you can make lovely boxes to put presents, chocolates, and jewellery in and also add any sentiment to make it personal.
