Amanda's Quarterly Training and gifts

The 20th April saw our quarterly training meet in Hampshire with 25 other demonstrators.

I love this day, it's a long one but lots of fun and I come away feeling inspired.

Donna did the driving this time which was a nice change for me and when she picked up Emmanuelle and I she had made some lovely car treat bags for us both.

Here is mine

Everything we needed to survive the day.....

I had goody bags as well for Donna and Emmanuelle which included a decorated notebook.

This one is Emmanuelle's.  During our business training these came in very handy.

We stopped for coffee on the way and kerry and some of her team joined us so there were more goodies..........

I am going to finish this post by just saying I have the best job in the world and if you would like to feel the same please give me a call as I can help you make that change.

A card of thanks

Good morning

Are you feeling bright and refreshed after the weekend.  My plastering is all done yippee I cry so next job is painting......

I have had several parties this month and when I pack up everyone's order I like to pop in a little card to say thank you.  At my last party I had three orders for the stamp set I used in my demo, so I thought it would be a great idea to give a little more inspiration using the same stamp set.

I have gone for a blue theme as my original was cheerful and bright.  I will find the original and show you again.

I really like the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and have added some stamp butterflies and a greeting from Friendly Phrases.

My card base is Bashful Blue which is one of our retiring colours at the end of June so if you like it place an order before stocks run dry.  I added another shade of blue called Marina Mist.

Ladies and Norman I hope you like.

The Sunday Chill....

Good morning

It's Sunday and after a busy week it would be lovely to relax.....but that's not quite the plan.

My husband and Hannah are upstairs plastering her bedroom.  We have had an ongoing project for several years upstairs and it's really hard as my husband is a builder and can do all the required work easily but just doesn't have the time so it's done in little bits....

I seem to be in the way so thought I would do a bit of catching up here, I have lots to show but don't seem to have photo's of everything yet.

Now just before I am summoned to provided refreshments let me share Hannah's birthday cake from earlier this month.  It was very yummy and needless to say it didn't last long!!!!

Tea and biscuits have been summoned so I am off......have a lovely Sunday with your families

New cases for our wood mount stamps

From the 1st July the packaging is going to change for our wood mount tamp sets.

These new cases are similar to our clear-mount boxes and fit perfectly on the shelf right next to them. They also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make your search for the right set even easier.

Don't they look great?

My Birthday Girl

Hi

It's my baby's 12th birthday today. so crafting is on hold for the day as I have to keep everywhere tidy! lots of visitors arriving for a  1 1/2hour window before Hannah has cheer practice.

We celebrated as a family on Saturday evening with a lovely meal out at a local pub we haven't tried before and the food was amazing as well as the service.  Then on Sunday the girls and I went to see The odd life of Timothy Green at the cinema, I have to say it was a bit of a tearjerker for me but a great film, so today she has gone off to school....after opening a few pressie's....so I thought I can't craft but I can do computer updates!!

Stampin' UP! have lots of news and I am going to spread this over a few days for you.

Firstly we are going to have a colour change from the 1st July when our new catalogue goes live

I have just watched our training video and seen some of the new colours they are lovely and its great that some of our favourite colours are returning.

All the retiring colours are available whilst stocks last so do make sure you place an order for any of your favourites.

Right I am off for a quick sandwich and to put the hoover over...back tomorrow X

Monthly Team Training

Hi

Last night was our monthly team training session, as well as crafting Kerry and I focus on any new business news and acknowledge our top 3 sales team members each month.

Well done to Trevor, Donna and Ruth in my team.

Here is the cad I sent them, I dusted off my clockworks stamp set again.

I love the midnight muse and gumball green colours here what do you think?

We also made 2 lovely projects and we tried the spritzer and rubbing alcohol and re-inkers for dying the flowers and cardstock.

Here is the card

I just love the flower trim and dying the flowers with the spritzer is just one way of adding colour to them.

The box provided more fun.....the lid fitted half the box's but not the other half but I think we got there in the end.  thank you vicky..:)

These get togethers are for demo's only but if you are interested in finding out more about this business opportunity give me a call 01452 855231 and come along and join us next month to met with other liked minded people.

More to show from Monday

Good morning

I am off to walk the dog in a minute, but before I go I want to share with you the last two cards from Monday's class.

The first one uses the new ovals framlits

and our last card is masculine.  Not everyone liked the white layered on white, but I love the clean look of it.  Let me know what you think?

Kerry and I have our monthly training meeting tonight so tomorrow I will be able to show you the projects I designed.

Have a great day X

Monday Class Cards

Hi there a bit later than I wanted but hey at least it's a post.

I have 15 minutes before I go and pick up Hannah from her weekly cheerleading practice so I best be fast....

My Monday class for this month fell on bank holiday Monday and I was joined by 12 lovely ladies, where we crafted and ate cake.  The cards we make here are simple and stylish and we also learn a technique.  This month it was the faux diamond technique.

This picture just about shows the sparkle.  You stamp your image in black stazon ( I used basic grey as its not so harsh) and then colour in your image using blender pens and ink from the pad lid.  Next cut out your image and then cover in versamark and dip into iridescent ice embossing powder and heat.  Take care not to over heat as the paper burns..

I used the easy events stamp set and the window framelits.  Some paper piercing and spritzing finish the card.

Our second card uses the hexagon embossing folder and a sentiment from petite pairs.

This card is so simple but versatile to any greeting.  Everyone was able to customise their own card as this stamp set has greetings for lots of different occasions.

Right must dash but will be back tomorrow X

Back to School....

Good morning

It's all back to normal today.  I am on duty for the morning school run this week and have just got back in from the hairdressers via a little detour to tesco's.

My diary is out on the table and I have just made a coffee so it's full steam ahead.....  It is soooo long since I have posted and although I have sat down several times during the holidays  either my internet connection was too slow or blogger wasn't playing ball, so keep your fingers crossed that I can finish today's post.

I have lots to show you over the next few days.

Firstly  if you have children I hope you have survived the break, I really enjoyed it but it plays havoc with my work schedule (I am going to work on this for the next school break at the end of May).

Today I am going to share with you the 3d project and card we made at one of my classes last month.  Everyone did the Calypso Coral combo but the blue version was just the reverse side of the dsp.

The above is a little box that will fit some little note cards or 4 tea lights.  Kerry designed the box as our make and take project at the Malvern Craft Show earlier this year.

This is the matching card that we made.  Here is that postgage stamp punch and 1" square again.  The stamp set is Ciao Baby which works so well with the 7/8" scallop circle and the petite curly label punch which is now available for you to purchase, after it's success as a sale-a-bration freebie.  If you didn't manage to grab this during Jan/Feb/Mar give me a call to place your order.

Below is the other combination.

Right I am off to work with my diary now and finalise the projects for monthly training on Wednesday evening.  I aim to be back tomorrow with more to show.

Have a good day XX
