Hello from Malvern Craft Fayre

Hi

Kerry and I have a trade stand at Malvern Craft Show at the Three Counties Showground over the next 3 days, so we are hoping to be very busy...........please make sure you pop by and say hello if you are there.  We are on stand E4.

We spent yesterday afternoon setting up our stand, so that this morning was more calm and we could just add the finishing touches.

Here are a few photo's

Kerry and I had a stand last year but we have gone a little larger this year so that we are able to run our make and take projects from the stand.

We have focused on the new in-colours and I hope our visitors today enjoyed the look of the stand as well as seeing the projects and products on display.

If you are visiting me today and met Kerry and I earlier it was lovely meeting with you at the show.

A little bit of Washi Tape..........

Good morning

It was a busy day yesterday with two parties.  Thank you Sue and Jo for being wonderful hostesses.

I will show you some projects form the parties in a few dyas time as I am repeating them at a party later on today and on saturday so I don't want to spoil the surprise for everyone.

Recently I have become a lover of washi tape, at £4.50 for 3 reels its a bargain and fab for making quick and effective cards.

Here are some recent designs of mine

I hope these designs give you some inspiration

Vintage box and card.

Good morning

Today I wanted to show you the vintage projects we made at one of my classes last month.  I love the vintage style and the projects went down well with everyone.

First of all we made a box using the naturals white card and mat and layered the sides using Early Espresso cardstock and the Natural Composition speciality papers.

The tag is made from using the Chalk Talk stamp set and matching dies, but we stamped the image in versamark and then embossed using Early Espresso embossing powder it really gives the tag a WOW look.

The box is tied with the crochet trim ribbon and I dyed some clay with some Calypso Coral reinker and molded in the flower mould. I made these before class as I like them to harden overnight. I added a little pearl gem to complete the tag.

and now the card

Here I have used the beautifully baroque embossing folder and I inked the folder with crumb cake ink before adding the cardstock and then running through the big shot.  The 4 panels were then cut and added to the card base.  The frame was made using 2 different sized dies form the labels collection and then the greeting was stamp and die cut using the smallest labels die.  I have added some banners of calypso coral dsp, a few leaves made from the bird punch (I love this punch) and another clay flower was added.

Posting from my new Craft Room.........

Hi there

This is my first post from my new craft room.......I am such a lucky girl. my husband worked until 9.30pm on Sunday evening finishing my room for me, I still need a blind and some shelving but I an operational, after spending all day yesterday doing removals from downstairs to upstairs my legs ache but I have waited so long for my own space, and boy do I have a lot of stuff!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you like a look at the room so far?

Once I have my shelving my desk area and the floor will be much clearer, can you see Shayna has bagged herself a spot on the floor.  I think I will need to purchase a bed for her.  Hannah is in her bed next door with a severe bout of tonsillitis, which is putting paid to cheerleading tonight and also her competition on Sunday if she is no better.  Really glad I followed my mummy instincts this morning and took her to the doctors, her lips and face are swollen too, bless her.

I can be a real busybody in my room as I look straight out onto the close, my neighbours can't get away with anything, although I am sure Shamilla will be pleased not to see the paint tins in the window anymore.

I will be back tomorrow with some vintage samples from one of last month's classes.
