Desk Top Calender Draw and cards

I wanted to show you this project that I made using the Just Believe stamp set. I cannot take any credit for the design or template. I purchased the class from a very clever lady called Jenny Moors www.stampinmomemts.blogspot.com and just followed the instructions.
When I showed my ladies in class they loved the used of the filigree brads and the draw.
The papers are from the DSP elegant soiree. (I Love these).
When I get a quite afternoon I am going to recreate this project using a different stamp set, colour combo and DSP.

Frustrating!!!!!

Morning Folks
Gosh do you ever have a time when whatever you do goes wrong? Over the last week or so I have been having computer problems..with both my laptop and main PC. Now both were second hand and will need to be replaced but both at the same time.. The laptop has finely gone to PC heaven and I think the main PC will be departing soon. Sometimes it works somestimes it doesn't and its slower than a snail and won't follow instructions. (a bit like my children!)
Any way enough of my moaning here's the box we made last Thursday. The base was real red and the template came from the Stampin'UP! website. We used the Just Believe stamp set and stamped a background using the circle image. We then stamped in real red ink the large floral image onto whisper white cardstock and added the greeting. To position we used the samj. Little pearls were added the the centre's of the flowers.
To finish off the box we used early espresso ribbon. I really love this wide ribbon although its expensive at £10.25 a roll. A couple of my ladies may do a ribbon share between them each month.
I am still looking for the card we made but whilst you are waiting tomorrow I will show you some more projects with the Just Believe Stamp set.

Ladies busy crafting

Here are my Thursday Class ladies busy on their two projects of the night. They were so good as it was freezing in the church............We had to vacate our normal room as the churchdown players were putting on performances during the week so our room was used as a dressing room and make up room.
Most ladies had their coats on and worked as fast as possible!. The top photo shows my downline Vicky who is a great sales person... with Irene in the middle and donna. Not sure what has made them laugh..
The bottom photo is Julie her daughter Sarah, Ann and Elaine. Julie and Ann have been with me since I started my classes and they both come to my Monday Class as well.
Tomorrow I will show you the box we made and then the card. (seem to have lost this one at the mo).
Thanks for stopping by X

Monday Class 6 cards

Our last card of the night. Whisper white base with a strip of old olive cardstock which has been paper pierced in one corner and 2 strips of greenhouse gala cardstock.
The greeting is from curly cute and stamped in old olive ink.
Now most of the cards have something in common....Do you know what it is?? Leave me a comment and then email me the answer. I will send a little something for each of you that do.

Monday Class 6 cards

This card is one of my favourites. We have a very vanilla cardbase teamed with real red cardstock and ink and crumb cake ink.

We have used the very vintage wheel and crumb cake ink along the bottom of the card. The layer of real red cardstock has the bottom edge punched with the scallop trim border punch and a piece of real red ribbon is knotted along the middle.

The hearts were stamped in real red ink and the larger one was stamped on a scrap of paper and then hand cut out and adhered with dimensionals to give some height. The heart stamp set is I hearts.

The congratulations greeting comes from curly cute. This is a handy card to add to your just in case stash and will be versatile as a wedding anniversary card or a wedding card.

Monday Class 6 Cards

Firstly I apologise for the quality of this card.....It was our simple card of the evening. We used the spot on wheel in tempting turquoise and rolled on each corner at an angle and, added the birthday greeting from Cheer and wishes.

Monday Class 6 cards

Card 3 is on a very vanilla base and uses elegant eggplant cardstock and ink and melon mambo ink.
The flowers are from Pocket Silhouettes and have just been stamped using both colours. We have punched the eyelet border punch along the bottom of the cardstock and then stamped a sentiment from curly cute.
Now I have to admit when I look at curly cute in the catalogue it makes my eyes go all funny but in the flesh its just a lovely set. You will see how we have used the other sentiments in the next few cards.

Monday Class 6 cards

This was our second card of the night. Its quite difficult to see from the photo but the card base is very vanilla. We have then punched out a square medallion in early espresso and layered a piece of blushing bride on top. The greeting is from the elegant thank you stamp which you can find on the back page of the catty and it is only £6.95. This was stamped in blushing bride ink and we used the marker pen to highlight the edges. A rhinestone gem was added to the "O" in you.
A simple elegant card....

Monday Class 6 cards

Last Monday was our 6 card class as this is the first card we made.
The base is whisper white and then we have used regal rose and daffodil delight inks for stamping.
The central image is from Baroque Motifs and we stamped on the grid paper first to soften the image on the card. The layered images are from the same stamp set and have been stamped and then hand cut and layered on a scallop circle of regal rose cardstock. A small pearl is added to the middle to give a touch of glamour....
The greeting was from Cheer and wishes.

Regional Training Event Team Gifts

Do you remember me saying that I was going to regional training on the 26th February with some of my team? Well this is the gift that I made for Trevor and Vicky.
I used daffodil delight, concord crush and the newsprint DSP to create the box. Its a bit like a large match box in that the box is a slider box. Nicki another demonstator gave me the measurements and instructions. She had been shown by Amanda Fowler who demo'd it at Michelle Last's training.
Inside the box were 3 tea lights which had been stamped with an image from Circle Circus in concord Crush. If you would like to know how to stamp on the candle and indeed make the box see my classes page and book in for my circle circus class in June.
The greeting came from Oval all and was punched out using the scallop oval punch and a few flowers were added from the boho blossom punch.
Now the regional training was to tell us all about the mini Catty which will launch on the 1st April 2011. There are so many lovely things to come from Stampin'UP! so start saving your pennies. I am waiting for my pre-order of goodies to arrive so that I can start to make up some samples for you to see. If you would like to receive your own copy on the 1st April 2011 please email me and I will post one to you.

Thursday 10 March 2011

Morning Everyone

I haven't shown you anything for ages, but I have been very busy planning and making some very exciting things......Some I will show you and some you will have to wait for..............

I have my team training tonight so I am planning for us to have a play with the crimper tool and distressing kit and will also show then how to use the scallop trim border and scallop trim corner punch to make lovely squares and rectangles.

I will post a tutorial for you all on the scallop trim punches. I have done lots of practicing and I have to confess once you master the art the results are fab.

I will be back soon with some pictures for you all. XX

Georgina's swap

This is Georgina's swap she is our honorary member....I think she said that she took her inspiration from a card she saw on Jenny Moors blog.
The stamp set is Hopeful Thoughts and she has used a rhinestone brad through the centre of the vase.

My last Swap for Fareham

There were 27 members attending Fareham from the Inspiring inkies team on Saturday and I decided that I wanted to do them all a swap that was different from the rest of them
As you can see I used the classic Stars wheel (these are so easy to use and quick!) and stamped in perfect plum. The star is punched out of marina Mist cardstock and the the congratulations greeting from Perfect punches was stamped in rose red and then punched out using the modern label punch. I have attached the two with a silver brad and adhered using dimensionals to give some height to the card.
To finish I daubered quite heavily in perfect plum around the edges of the star.

The Winner Is......................

Do you remember my goodies offer at the beginning of January?????

Anyone who hosted a workshop or sign up as a demonstrator with me during Jan and Feb would be entered into a draw to win £25 worth of Stampin' UP! product of their choice.

Well the winner was picked using a random number generator and the lucky person picked was Sharon Cann.

Sharon you will need to let me know what you want to order by 7th March 2011.

My Second Colourway

This second colour way is pretty in pink, bashful blue, certainly celery and rose red.
Both options were taken from the colour coach which is my trusty second in command. Whatever did I do before we had it.....wasted time choosing my colour combo!!

Fareham regional Training Event

Last Saturday brought an very early start for me as we had some regional training in Fareham. Vicky picked me up just before 7am and then we went off the collect Trevor and Irene.
I made 3 different swaps for the day. I think I made 55 in total. (70 demo's were attending)
The above card was made in 2 different colourways. This is the first one.
I used daffodil delight, old olive and night of navy cardstock with whisper white for stamping on.
I have used the spot on wheel and night of navy ink for my background. The circle circus stamp set was used to stamp out the over images and then they were punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch.
The spiral punch was used on the side panel. The greeting was from Party this way and was stamped and punched out using the word window and then layer onto the modern label punch.
Using the wheel made the backgroud so easy and quick to do.
Tomorrow I will show you my other colourway.
