Flowers using the clay and moulds

Morning everyone

Another stamp a stack share today.  This card is the complete opposite to yesterday's share and there is much more detail on it, but I think it works.

I have used the spiral punch along the top, this was one of my first buys over 5 years ago, stampin' Up! retired it and then brought it back again after a few years.  The leaf is from the Flower Frenzy die and die cut using the big shot.  The flower is from Petal Potpourri and punched out using the medallion punch.  The flower in the centre is made using our clay and the moulds.  I just love this material.  A greeting and more candy dots finish this card.

Postage would be higher than 1st class, but hey some are worth it right.....?

Love & Sympathy

Morning

Today's share is another card from my stamp a stack class.  It uses the Love & Sympathy stamp set. I love the simplicity of this stamp set, but it delivers just what you need on the loss of a loved one.

I used the Naturals White cardstock as my base and then layered Pear Piazza and Whisper White.  Some matching candy dots complete the card.

Baby cards times 2.........

At a recent stamp a stack event we made a couple of baby cards, using the stamp set Something for baby with co-ordinates with the baby's First Framelits dies.  If you purchase both items together as a bundle you get a 15% discout.

The sentiment is from That's the Ticket and is punched out using the Ticket Duo Builder punch and layered on a scallop oval of cardstock.

I have added a little candy dot to the centre of each flower.

Some little Easter projects

Hi there

Just a short post from me today, whilst tea is cooking.  I have set the timer to make sure I don't burn the potatoes which is my favourite trick........

Firstly I have a fun Easter carrot, which is a sour cream container made from card stock, and then the fun carrot top is made from snipping some cardstock with our fringe scissors.

I then made a simple card using the Crazy about You stamp set.  I have managed to get two colour tones by doing a simple trick of second generation stamping.  You ink up the stamp and then stamp onto cardstock and then stamp again without re-inking.  With our really vibrant colours you can do this trick up to 4 times. (blackberry bliss is fab for doing this).

Team Quarterly Team training projects for January.

I am very late showing these projects, but I needed to show them before our next training session on the 28th of March.

Included in the cost of the event were 1/2 pack of the Stacked With Love DSP stack, Artisian Embellishment kit, a reel of white cotton ribbon and some pegs.

Kerry designed 3 projects and so did I using the product included.

Here are my projects, firstly a decorated box.

The bow centrepiece has been made using the Bow Builder Punch, isnt it effective, the top picture shows you the simple bow.  The white flower in the centre comes from the Artisian Embleshiment kit.

My other two projects were cards.

I do hope you like my projects if would be lovely if you could leave me a comment.

Golden Wedding anniversary card.

Good morning

I am enjoying a chilled out morning after a late night yesterday after team training.  I will share my team training projects later in the week as well as some team congratulations card.

I have another special card to show today.  It is a Golden Wedding anniversary card for my mums good friends Pete and Ellen.  Paul and I have a lot of catching up to do as we celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary on the 6th of March.

My numbers dies have really been useful for making these cards to mark special events.

A wet and miserable Monday morning......

Good morning

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and if you are mums you were spoilt rotten yesterday.  I was Hannah had a lovely bag of goodies for me, Matt took us both out to lunch and Alice is popping in today and has promised me coffee and cake when I am free, so I feel really spoiled.

To brighten up this miserable morning I am sharing a couple of cards I made last month to celebrate some special birthdays in the family.  You will see that I used the same layout for each card and just changed the number.

The first card was for my mums good friend Ellen.

My other two cards were for my mums baby brother and my cousin Jonathan.

Isn't it amazing how the same card layout can look so different when you change the colour.  I have used the Balloon Bash stamp set and Melon Mambo and Marina Mist cardstock and inks.  I love the layering on the Basic black cardstock, which really makes the colours pop.

I am glad I managed to walk the dog early today before the rain really took hold, so my morning is going to be spent holed up in my craft room cutting kits for training tonight and designing a couple of cards for events next week.

Enjoy the sunshine if you are lucky enough to have it today.

Spring is nearly here....

Today's card has a lovely bright happy spring feel to it.  Isn't it lovely that the nights are getting longer, I always feel that I have more energy and happiness as the clocks are nearly ready to change.

I dusted off Flower Shop for this card and the sentiment comes from Hey You.

Enjoy your Mother's Day weekend I hope each and everyone of you is spoiled by your loved ones.  I have a lunch out with a girlfriend today and then we will do a spot of crafting and my Son is taking me out for lunch tomorrow.

Tissue Paper Technique

Our technique for February was the tissue paper technique and we used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.

Everyone loved the effect this technique gives.  Do you want to know more about this technique? book a party and let me come and demonstrate it for you.  I have two dates free for next week and then we are looking at April.  I have my diary grab yours and give me a call.

The sentiment is from Wetlands and has been stamped and punched out with the oval and scallop oval punch.

Goodbye to our Blendabilities

At  the end of last week Stampin' Up! made the decision to discontinue their line of Blendability pens due to poor quality issues with the manufacturer that they have not been able to resolve.

I am really disappointed but equally respect the brave decision that Stampin'UP! have made.  Their aim is to provide high quality products and they were failing to do so with this product line.

If you have bought any pens from me please do get in touch so that I can discuss your options with you.

Now onto a more positive note here is the valentines card we made in card club, I cased the idea from pinterest and some of my ladies used as a valentines card and some changed to a wedding anniversary card

I have used Real Red and Night of Navy cardstock and ink and the stamp set Work of Art and Groovy Love.

Hello..........

Well I have done it again haven't I.  I am horrified that it is over a month since I last posted.  I have been busy with Sale-a-bration and also the Malvern show at the end of the last month and of course family as well.

My grandson Kobe is growing up so fast and I popped in yesterday to see him and my daughter and he is babbling away but when I left it really sounded like he said see you later as he waved goodbye.

Today I have been busy unpacking orders and writing thank you cards as well as designing some projects for team training on Monday and my class on Thursday evening.  I need to get ahead of myself as the last week of the month leaves me no breathing space and then half term is upon us and I know from past experience I get little time to work when Hannah is home from school.  She has gone to her sisters for tea tonight so I have a longer working day.

I thought I would share a card from my card club class in February today.  I love the simplicity of this card and the colour combination of Rich Razzleberry and Pink Pirouette as well as some second generation stamping in the background.
