inspiringinkin challenge # 23 A theme challenge

The latest challenge set by the inspiringinkinteam was to create an Easter card or gift (both if you wish) with a side twist to use flowers in some form ie rub ons, punches, die cut, felts etc.
I have made easter baskets at my classes and workshops this month so just adapted one of the left over templates.
I have used very vanilla cardstock and the its beautiful jumbo wheel stamped with old olive ink. (flowers 1). I then made some flowers using the 5 petal flower punch and some off cuts from the dsp tea and crumpets and old olive card stock. (flowers 2). The easter sentiment comes from the occasional greetings stamp set and is set on very vanilla and old olive card stock.
To just finish things off I had a go at making a flower from vellum and the scallop circle punch. I spent this afternoon with Jane Cutting who showed me how to do this. (flower 3).
Not bad I have completed the challenge and can use the basket for my younger daughter to take for her friends at school filled with chocs. (elder daughter has finally been persuaded to go to the local shops to purchase some as I blog.
Check out http://www.inspiringinkinchallenges.blogspot.com for more takes on the challenge.
I must also say a big thank you to all my ladies at Park Childrens Centre today I had great fun and I hope you all did too.
