Opportunity Event project two

This card was made using elegant eggplant and always artichoke cardstock. We scored two lines at the top of the card at 1/2" cm widths apart, and then inked the vintage wheel in elegant eggplant ink to create our background. We then made a scallop medallion using always artichoke cardstock and the scallop punch. Again this can be found in the resource section on http://splitcaoststampers.com . It was so easy to master. I then inked the edges using a dauber and white craft ink. The sentiment was inked in the craft but as I said to my ladies you only need a light touch when inking up the stamp as the ink is thicker and also takes a little longer to dry. We used the stamp-a-ma-jig to place the sentiment.
We used heat and stick powder and dazzling diamonds on two of the flowers to give our card some WOW and then hand cut these out and layered with a plainly stamped flower and put a contrasting brad in the centre. Vicky said can we really use your brads......my answer Yes you can.
The leaves were punched from the 2 step bird punch and then everything was adhered to the card using the 2 way glue pen, tombow and dimensionals.
To finish the card we tied a know using the elegant eggplant ribbon.
