Workshop card

We had a lovely time at Jo's workshop on Friday evening. All the ladies have been to workshop's before and regulary attend my classes, so we agreed on a simple make and take and then lots of time to look at the last chance list. The ladies had all been back to work that day as well after the school holidays so wanted a relaxing evening.
The inspiration from this card comes from a Christmas card Amanda showed us at our last training and I just changed the colour combo and dsp and of course the greeting.
The card base was perfect plum and we used papers from Lap of Luxury. Rose red cardstock was the base onto which we adhered the dsp which had been punched using the 1 1/4" punch. The edges were daubed using concord crush ink.
The greeting came from Cheer and Wishes which is one of our retiring stamp sets. The inside of the card had a little more stamping using Big Bold Birthday another retiring stamp set. We used the stamp-a-ma-jig to position the two images.
