After my ladies had done their technique class (spotlight) they went on do make the above card using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set.
The card base was close to cocoa which is retiring at the end of the month together with Bella Bleu designer series papers. The next layer was chocolate chip and very vanilla. The large tree image was stamped once in soft suede as our background and then again in chocolate chip. My ladies choose the section of print that they wanted to highlight and then punched it out using the 1 3/8" circle punch.
The greeting comes from Basic Phrases and was punched out using the oval punch and then layered up onto the oval scallop. The brads came from bold brights which I think adds that splash of colour....
The ribbon was chocolate chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and was just knotted around the central panel before it was adhered to finish the card.
A perfect card for those males in our life. (so many of us find it hard to make these)
