Monday Class Card 6

This was our last card of the evening and possibly another one for the men.
We have a whisper white base onto which we have stamped directly in old olive ink. We have used images from Plane and simple and Lovely as a Tree. The happy birthday was stamped and then punched out using the small oval and layered onto a word window punched shaped.

Monday Class Card 5

Here is a card for the men. We have a very vanilla base, then a layer of Cajun craze which has had the bottom decorated using the decorative label punch. We have run some marina mist cardstock through the big shot and square lattice embossing folder and then punched out using the 1 3/8" square punch.
The aeroplane was from plane and simple and stamped in Cajun craze onto scrap card and then hand cut and adhered using a dimensional.
The greeting is from Curly Cute.

Monday Class Card 4

This was the more difficult card of the evening! We have a whisper white base and I used perfect plum cardstock and ink to accessorise.
The flower image comes from Build a Blossom in the mini catalogue and was stamped directly onto the base to form a flower shape. You can see that on my card I really inked up the first petal which gave a nice bold ink, but that I hadn't quite done the same on the others. These have more of a material effect! The centre piece was stamped in daffodil delight and punched out using the 1/2" circle punch.
We have used the scallop border punch along the side and dotted using the white stylo pen. The greeting is from Oval all and was stamped and then punched out using the oval punch and layered onto a scallop oval. Again we have used the pen to dot.

Monday Class card 3

A Christmas card I hear you cry!! its only June............
While I was blog hopping I read that someone had decided to include a Christmas card in their class each month (I think it was Jane Cutting?) and thought what a good idea so decided to duplicate the idea at my class.
We have a whisper white base for this and then a layer of real red and another layer of whisper white for stamping on.
We have stamped in real red ink and the images are from Season of Joy. The sentiment is from Curly Cute. A little bit of daubering around the edges finishes of this card.

Monday Class Card 2

For this card we have a very vanilla base onto which we have stamped the sanded background stamp in regal rose. There is a strip of daffodil delight cardstock down the middle of the card and we created the notch at the bottom using the photo corner punch!
The greeting is from Perfect Punches and has been stamp in regal rose and then punched out using the large oval punch and adhered with dimensionals.
A nice, quick stylish card.

Monday Class Card 1

Gosh I can't believe a month has passed since our last class.... This was the first card of the evening.
We have a very vanilla base followed by rich razzleberry and another layer of very vanilla for stamping on.
We used the scallop trim border punch on the top and bottom edges of the rich razzleberry card.
The butterflies come from the stamp set Flight of the Butterfly and were stamped onto scraps on cardstock in rich razzleberry ink and then punched out using the butterfly punch. The verse is stamped at an angle under the bottom butterfly so that it looks like the butterfly has left a trail.
The butterflies are adhered with a little bit of tombow in the middle, to leave the allusion of movement.

Pop Up card

A couple of weekends ago Georgina and I were playing and this is one of our finished projects.
Its called a pop up card and was in fact very easy to make. I think we will be making one of these at my Thursday class in the future.
I have used the fast and fabulous stamp set which is a level 2 hostess gift and Cottage Garden. The cardstock is pretty in pink, melon mambo and very vanilla. We used melon mambo and elegant eggplant inkpads.
We used a crop-o-dile to set the large eyelet and threaded through a piece of very vanilla ribbon.
