Quarterly Team Training

Good morning..........I have been busy for the last few days putting together the finishing touches for my projects for mine and kerry Timms quarterly team training event last Saturday.

Kerry and I run the joint event for our teams and share the workload.

Firstly I ran an inspiration station to show how to make a 1/2 circle card using the Watercolour Wings bundle.

Here are a few different colour combinations that I looked at and the card.

Bel also did a station and she showed us how to use this stamp set with Shrink Plastic, it was amazing and I can't wait to find time to have a go.

Tomorrow I will show you another card and box like this but in a different colour.  Enjoy the sunshine for the rest of the day.

Technique Card heat embossing on Vellum..........

I am just about to stop for lunch, but thought I would get a quick post in before I stop.

The technique we have learned for this month is a revisit to heat embossing on Vellum cardstock and then colouring in using our blender pens.

I have used the flower image from a new stamp set called You've Got This..........stamped in versamark and then added white embossing powder and heated.  We then used the ink from the lid of a pad and with a blender pen coloured in the image.

I have used the bow builder punch to make the pretty bow, just think that it is straight hehehe......I didnt realise it was wonky when I photographed. opps.  Some large pearls complete the card.

That Friday Feeling

Good morning isn't it a beautiful day?  I have some chores to do today but cannot wait to play with some new catalogue goodies that arrived yesterday once I have finished my jobs.

I have another cardclub card for you today.  This card would suit so many occasions by just changing the sentiment.  The bow is created from our white jute ribbon and you just pull a thread out from the width.  I just love this technique.

My colours are Night of Navy and TIP Top Taupe.  The images come from Everything Eleanor, Wetlands and also Big News for the sentiment.

There is a list of products below, enjoy your weekend and see you Monday.

Happy Thursday

Good morning, I missed my slot yesterday as I was having some internet problems so hopefully I can schedule some posts today.  I will also be adding some details of all the products I have used and a link directly to my shop if you wish to purchase anything.

Today's share is another card from my card club

The card has been in a little accident with the ink pad, but you still get the full effect.  I have used the Butterfly basics stamp set and the larger butterfly comes from Papillion Potpourri.  Dont you think that the Rich Razzleberry goes so well with the Old Olve and then the whisper white as the stampin card.  The butterflies have been punched out using our matching punches.

I have used Watermelon Wonder for the card base and ink and added candles from patterned paper called Cherry on Top.  Delightful Dijon is the colour used for the candle flame.

Add a number and you have a perfect childrens card.
