First stylish Card from Monday 7th June

I finally managed to obtain the camera off my husband this morning. So here goes with my first post of my new Monday Class cards.

Whisper white is the card base and then I have layered with melon mambo and a smaller oblong of whisper white. The stamped image is in melon mambo and comes from pocket silhouettes. The sentiment is stamped in the same colour and comes from sincere salutations. A stamp-a-ma-jig made sure the sentiment was in the correct place.

Another Creation from Trevor

My Friend Trevor made this beautiful card and I asked him to email a picture so that I could show you all.

Hello

Gosh what a busy week so far. Hence my lack of posts and here I am with a few minutes spare and I thought I would upload some photos from Monday Night and my husband has taken the camera with him to work.

I would like to thank my ladies and Trevor for making Monday night so successful. I really hope you all enjoyed yourselves and were pleased with your 6 cards. I have placed all your orders today so if I don't see you before I will bring them along to next thursday's class.

Tomorrow's post is a beautiful card made by Trevor and after that some photo's of the cards we made on monday.

Ruby Wedding Card 2

This is my second card and again I have used Garden Dream and the Cheer and Wishes stamp set.

The card base is ruby red which has been versamarked with the bird image and I have then layered a panel of close to cocoa which has the 4 corners rounded with the corner punch. The last panel is cameo coral. I have used the paper piercing mat and tool to define the top corners and the bottom under the greeting. The flowers were stamped onto very vanilla in regal rose and ruby red. This was two separate stamps so I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line them up. The flowers were then hand cut and attached using tombow.

The bow is very vanilla taffeta ribbon and was adhered with a glue dot.

Busy Busy!!

Over the last few days I have been designing and preparing cards for my new monday class. By the end of today all six projects should be ready for loading into the car on monday. I do hope all my ladies and gentlemen are going to be as happy with the cards as I am.

I think the hardest task was to design cards that don't overlap in colours and stamp set usage. By the end of all the cutting my eyes were a bit wonky.

Tomorrow I am off to my friend Sharon's in the afternoon for a spot of crafting so I am looking forward to making something for me rather than for a class or workshop.

Ruby Red Wedding Anniversary

I was asked recently to make 2 Ruby Wedding Anniversary cards so this is the first one.

I have used close to cocoa cardstock for my base and used versamark to watercolour a flower image onto it. The images all come from the stamp set Garden Dream which is a level 3 hostess gift. Onto this I have layered strips of cameo coral and ruby red. Down the sides of the ruby red card I have used the eyelet border punch. The flower image has been stamped onto very vanilla cardstock in ruby red ink twice and then coloured using blender pens and ink from the lid of the ink pad. The stem was blended using old olive ink.

I then hand cut out the whole image and then adhered the top of the flower from the other image using dimensionals to give some height to the card.

The insert for the card was very vanilla and onto it was stamped Happy Anniversary from the Cheer and Wishes stamp set.

For a dramatic touch I have made a bow using real red satin ribbon from the mini catalogue.
