Team Training projects for January

Morning Earlier this month Kerry and I held our joint team training at Whitminster Village Hall. I am going to share with you my two projects of the night and the upscaled version of the card. First this is the card. I wonder if you can tell me what the pattern paper is? The first person to guess correct will receive a little gift from me, so I really would love to have some comments. You will see that I have used the new bow builder punch, the greeting is from the Best Day Ever stamp set and has been punched ou with the bracket label punch and layered over a circle punched from the 1 3/4" punch.
Heres my upscaled version, on this card I have added an embossing folder, some Sahara Sand lace trim, pearls and some ribbon from the Best Year Ever accessory pack.
Now my 3d project was a little box, which holds a bar of chocolate. I have added some of the pompom trim and more ribbon from the Best Day Ever accessory pack. The box was created using the Envelope Punch Board.

Thursday Class Projects for January

Morning Today's show is the projects we made in our Thursday class this month. We were a quiet class this month so had time to chat over coffee once we had finished which was nice for a change and we had an early finish. My apologies to Edna for the time taken to add these projects, but thank you Christine for sharing yours with Edna. At convention last year we were shown how to create a pocket for notecards using the Gift Card enclosures. I loved the idea and have been waiting for a chance to make my own version. I have used the new Happy Heart Textured Impressions embossing folder, painted blooms cotton twine, white jute ribbon and the Sahara Sand lace trim, teamed up with the Best Year Ever DSP and the Simply Wonderful stamp set. Either of these can be earnt with a £45 order placed until the 31st March.
The box holds 2 notecards and envelopes. This makes a lovely gift or you could use the cards separately and fill the box with a gift card, chocolates or perhaps a sachet of hot chocolate. I hope you like todays share. Make sure you pop back soon.

Lots more to show you......lets start today with the Lotus Blossom Sale-a-bration FREEBIE

Happy Monday morning to you all.........I hope you have had a lovely weekend. We decided to clear out the garden shed yesterday, but things changed when my husband fell through the decking!!!!!, the shed was hastly sorted then we had to take up all the decking as the timber underneath was rotten...........the garden now looks like steptoes yard. being married to a builder is great because of course they can fix anything but I wonder how long we will wait. perhaps I shall keep you unpdated on the progess with some before and after shots. The last word from me was I WANT a garden for the summer, so we will see. I shall pop out and photo the garden in a bit, but for now let me get back to the lovely Lotus Blossom stamp set which you can earn for FREE with a £45 order until the 31st March 2015. All my customers love this set and I have used it in card club class and parties this month.
I just love how you can create the multi tone bloom by just using one ink colour. On this card I have used Night of Navy ink. I have then used the same set for my parties this month
If you add a few more products to the same card you can set it up. I have used some rhinestones and silver glimmer paper on this version. The ink pad this time is Blackberry Bliss.
I am sure you will see me use this stamp set again but I hope you like what I have shared so far. Enjoy you day and pop back soon.

70 and Fabulous............

It's the weekend.........Hooray. I am looking after my grandson Kobe today while his mummy and daddy have a shopping day in Bristol. Remember me saying that I was out last night to a birthday party? well this is the card I made. I think its quite clean and simple for me anyway :) My card base is Naturels White and I have layered with some retired dsp from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. The flowers are from the new Artisan Embellishment Kit with the leaves from the Bird Builder Punch. The numbers are from the Bigz die and the sentiment was generated on my computer and then die cut using the project life framelit dies. I hope Chrissie liked it.........
Have a fabulous weekend and I will be back on Monday.

New Chalk Inkpads......wow loving the results......

Good Morning Thank heavens for Friday, I am off out to a 70th birthday party later on and then babysitting my grandson tomorrow but hoping to get a little lie in first......... Stampin'Up have introduced a new Chalk inkpad and Chalkboard paper. Take a look on page 25 of the catalogue. The results are really lovely and will definately give a wow factor. One side of the heavy paper has a smooth grain wich pairs perfectly with the chalk inkpads and the other side will work with our Craft Stampin' ink. I would recommend that you purchase a refill at the same time as the pad, as these inkpads need to stay moist to give the best results. There are three colours to choose from, aquamarine, Rose Coral and Yellow Citrus. My colour combination is Black, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. The combination had mixed results from my ladies. I have also added some embossing with the Happy Heart embossing folder which can be found on page 9 and some Stacked with Love Designer washi tape on page 5. The sentiment comes from the Big Day stamp set which you can get for FREE with any £45 order placed until the 31st March 2015

Butterfly Basics Bundle

Good Morning, gosh its chilly this morning..........and what a morning for the heating system to play up. Thank goodness I am married to a general builder who can sort out any problem.....heating has been restored. I mean how can I craft with cold hands!!!! Todays share is another card from card club and it uses the Butterfly Basics bundle which is on page 26 of the new catalogue. This was a real hit with my ladies and I sold 4 bundles on Monday. With the thinlits you really need to use wax paper layered up as follows. Cardstock, wax paper and then the thinlit. When you run it through the bigshot you will find is much easier to poke out all those small bits. My colour combination today is Baked Brown Sugar, Pool Party and I picked out Calypso Coral from the Best Year Ever dsp which is FREE with any £45 order you place during SALE-A-BRATION. There is a lovely honeycomb stamp in this set, I am hoping you can see it on the card. Have a close look under the greeting.

We made this card on Monday evening at card club using the Moon Lake Stamp set which is in the new catalogue on page 21. I think the possibilities are endless with this one and perfect for those oh so difficult male cards we have to make. I stamped the image in stazon onto some watercolour paper and then coloured it in using my aquapainters and ink from the lid of the pad. I really felt like an artist and it is so calming........The colour combination is Crushed Curry and Cajan Craze, with a little Old Olive and Soft Sky.
To finish off I have tied some linen thread and a couple of rhinestines which I coloured with one of the blendability pens.
